Creating your post purchase shareable video

This guide explains how to create a personalised shareable video for your TickX confirmation page, including specifications, creative requirements, messaging guidelines, and examples. Learn how to design short, branded videos that dynamically insert the customer’s name and encourage social sharing to drive organic engagement and excitement around your show, event, or attraction.

How it Works

Shareable videos on the confirmation are personalized to the booker and can be used to turn bookers into micro-influencers for your production, event or attraction.

The shareable video is a short personalised video is built on the fly, incorporating a personalised message - usually the customer's name.

This is surfaced on the order confirmation page and can then be downloaded and shared across social media and communications channels to turn your customers into micro influencers. 

This is an excellent way to drive a buzz about your production or experience directly from your fans and customers. It also creates a moment of delight for customers once they have purchased. 

While TickX provides the technology to surface these videos and automate the personalised message you will need to work with your creative team / agency to create the assets as per the guide below.

What to Include

Your account manager may be able to suggest some relevant assets which could be adapted from your social media adverts.

  • You may create a bespoke video or use existing assets (without text), which can be adapted for the shareable video 
  • You can either provide a simple asset where the text appears on one screen, or a two screen asset with the personalised message which transitions to your logo. You can see examples below.
  • Please use key assets eg. title treatment, key art, character poses etc
  • Please provide the font so TickX can populate the video with the personalised message

Please note that we need the video provided in full so we can populate this. Creation of, or edits to, the video is not something our in house design team typically provide although we are happy to provide ideas, inspiration and feedback.

Specifications

  • Square - min 600x600px
  • Any video format eg MP4 or similar (TickX will convert to a gif)
  • No longer than 10 seconds

Messaging

  • As a default we keep the messaging quite simple:

    Eg: 'Jack just got tickets to...', or 'Beth is going to experience...'

  • However, this is an opportunity to be a bit playful with your branding. Some examples of this are:

    'Hello my name is Elder Williams' (The Book of Mormon)

    'Will Sam survive... ?' (A haunted house experience)

Please note, the video you supply to TickX should include the messaging without the customers name, so we can generate that into the video.
