Post-Purchase Surveys and Recommendations
Use TickX post-purchase and sign-up surveys to capture audience insights, shape marketing strategy, and build high-value customer segments.
TickX's post-purchase survey feature provides insights into audience behaviour and motivation when booking or attending an event. TickX also supports surveys within a sign-up modal to capture insights when a customer subscribes to your mailing list.
This can be incredibly valuable as measuring audience behaviours and lifestyle groups which are less obtainable through traditional tracking pixels.
Through TickX IQ, you can create audience segments based on customer responses, which you can use to create lookalike audiences across digital marketing and social platforms to help your campaigns work more efficiently to build a better return on ad spend (ROAS).
TickX are currently integrated with the follow digital platforms:

Which questions should my surveys ask?
TickX recommends asking around two questions to ensure customers complete the survey. Where up to two questions have been asked, we see a completion rate of between 60% and 90%.
TickX can support more questions if this is will help your overall marketing strategy.
Based on your marketing strategy, there are a number of questions you may wish to consider, based on audience behaviour, lifestyle groups or keeping in line with the event.

Supporting the wider marketing campaign
These questions and responses can be updated based on your marketing activity to help measure its success. For example, if your event is scheduled to feature on a daytime television show or an advert has been booked to run ahead of a blockbuster movie at the cinema you can update the responses to include these specifically:
How did you hear about Event A?

Tone of voice
Your event may have a tone of voice, which is playful and would like to extend this tone further with your customers within the survey:

- TV
- Radio
- Rail / Bus / Billboards / Posters
- How should I know?

Influence future programming
As producers and events organisers, you may wish to use existing customer insights to help influence what your next event could be. This can be achieved by asking what other genres your customers are interested in, what they could be encouraged to attend or similar:
What other events are you interested in or attend often?
- Movies at the cinema or other venue
- Musicals
- Plays
- Theme parks
- Music festivals
- Concerts
- Comedy events
- Sports
- Zoos
- Museums / Galleries
- Opera / Dance
You may have some productions/events you are already considering announcing. To help you decide, which will be most successful and popular amongst audiences you may wish to be more specific (with or without stating what the event might be):
What other events are you most likely on attending?
- A musical based on the life and music of a well known 90s pop band
- A comedy play about the lives of staff of a supermarket
- A modern dance show focussing on teenagers living in a big city
- An exhibition of the life of Whitney Houston using projections and music
- An immersive experience set in the Amazon Rainforest
If your strategy is to find out more about your audience's lifestyle and motivations you can utilise the survey to ask questions such as:
- How often do you attend live events?
- What age bracket are you?
- What age(s) are the children attending with you?
- Why did you book tickets today?
- Which gender best describes you?
