Sales Reporting - Flows
Analyse and optimise your custom purchase journeys using Flow Performance insights in TickX IQ.
This article explains how the Flow Performance section in TickX IQ helps you analyse the effectiveness of each custom purchase flow. It covers key metrics such as calendar starts, completion rates, add-to-basket percentages, orders, revenue, AOV, and Days Till Performance (DTP). You’ll learn how to interpret each metric, identify friction points, compare flows, and optimise customer journeys for higher conversions and revenue. This guide helps teams monitor performance and improve the booking experience across all custom flows.
How it Works
The Flow Performance section gives you a detailed breakdown of how each of your custom purchase flows are performing, helping you identify strengths and areas for improvement.
Key Metrics in Flow Performance
-
Flow Identification
- Each row in the Flow Performance table represents a different custom purchase flow that you have set up within the TickX IQ platform.
- How to Use:
- Use the table to quickly compare the performance of different flows, identifying which flows are most effective in driving customer engagement and conversions.
-
Calendar Starts
- This metric shows the number of sessions in which customers initiated the purchase flow by starting on the calendar view.
- How to Use:
- Analyse this metric to understand how many customers are entering each flow. A low number of starts might indicate an issue with how the flow is presented or promoted on your site.
-
Calendar Completion %
- The percentage of customers who complete the calendar stage of the purchase flow, moving on to the next steps in the buying process.
- How to Use:
- A low completion rate may indicate friction or confusion at the calendar stage. Consider optimising the calendar interface or simplifying the steps required to proceed.
-
Add to Basket %
- The percentage of sessions in which customers added tickets to their basket during the purchase flow.
- How to Use:
- This metric helps determine how well the flow is converting initial interest into purchase intent. A low add-to-basket percentage might suggest that customers are not finding what they want or are abandoning the process.
-
Orders
- The total number of completed orders for each purchase flow.
- How to Use:
- Use this metric to assess the direct outcome of each flow. Flows with high order counts are performing well, while those with lower counts might need review and optimisation.
-
Revenue
- The total revenue generated by each custom purchase flow.
- How to Use:
- Compare revenue across flows to identify which flow is the most profitable. Higher revenue could indicate a more effective flow or a higher average order value.
-
AOV (Average Order Value)
- The average amount spent per order within each flow.
- How to Use:
- Use AOV to understand customer spending patterns. If a flow has a high AOV, it might be targeting a high-value segment or promoting higher-priced tickets effectively.
-
DTP (Days Till Performance / Attendance.)
- This metric shows the median number of days for each purchase until the timeslot they're going to be attending
- How to Use:
- Use DTP to track the lead time from each purchase flow until the customer is going to be attending, useful for if your purchase flow is filtered to shows further in the future, you can compare this vs. your overall days till performance / attendance.
